Home Study Course SetUp
I have recently started the Home Study Hypnobabies program at 27 weeks. I am so enjoying the tracks and my daily affirmations to encourage my positive mindset!
Can someone offer some advice on how to set up my "classes"? I was thinking of doing a class per 1.5weeks... Would that work well?
Also, We are wondering how my husband/birth partner should approach it? Daily or weekly study? Should we do parts or all of it together? Just not sure on how he should go about it and would love to hear what worked for other Hypnobabies-daddy's.
Any other advice you have for a second time mommy but first time Hypnobabies mommy?!
Thanks in advance.

Many hypno-moms allow extra time to complete their 'weekly' practice as outlined in the instructions that come with your Home Study set; 1.5 or even 2 weeks spent per class. Remember that you will be working on a maintenance program after you've completed the 5 classes so you will continue to practice your hypnosis every day as outlined in this schedule until your baby comes. It sounds like finishing up the program around your 34/35th week would work well - still giving you at least a few weeks before your baby's arrival.
As for involving your birth partner, how to go about that really is a personal decision. Many birth partners take part in the classes with moms by reviewing all the info right along with them and even learning the hypnosis tools as well! The two of you could review all the tools together, do the birth partner's script together (later on), do mini birth rehearsals using the hypnosis tools etc.
I know couples who go through the information over the week (several days/nights) together and others who have mom review the info and then the couple gets together once per week to review what she's learned. Any approach would work well - it really comes down to what would work best for the two of you.
I'm sure you'll get more suggestions from other Home Study mommies on here but I wanted to at least give you some suggestions to start with!
Any questions, let us know.
